At its heart, Nosouj is a sustainable luxury brand creating handbags and accessories made from hand-spun recycled fabrics. With a respect for nature and modern design, this brand to trust bridges the gap between style and social responsibility. Just as the fibres are woven to create the ancient Dokuma fabric, the principles of environmental consciousness and luxury design come together to create Nosouj. Nosouj not only brings authentic and vibrant designs to life, but small ailing communities are given job opportunities for sustainable living, breathing new life into ancient techniques with modern design.
Preserving heritage with an exclusively handmade process, an integral part of the Nosouj message is the inherent belief that the future of fashion is a place where design and respect for Mother Earth meet. Nosouj believes that artisanship is at the root of luxury, and people are looking for brands and products that are truly differentiated. Nosouj incorporates ancient traditions in untraditional ways, creating exquisite limited edition products. The hope is that by doing so, Nosouj promotes entrepreneurship, prosperity and dignity in communities that need it most.

The Elvis & Kresse Overnight bag is made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose and has a reclaimed military-grade parachute silk lining. Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires around the UK, the hose is perfectly robust for an overnight bag.The wide mouth opening means you can get all your belongings in and out with ease.
Elvis & Kresse have been reclaiming heroic materials ever since they fell in love with London Fire Brigade’s decommissioned fire-hose. After a distinguished career fighting fires and saving lives the hoses were destined for landfill. Elvis & Kresse started to rescue it in 2005 and never looked back. 50% of the profits from the fire hose range are donated to the Fire Fighters Charity. More materials soon followed, as Kresse has always had an obsession with waste and likes nothing better than discovering and intercepting something new. The challenge is the same every time – what can they do to prove value, change perception, and respect these resources.
For those moments when you need to channel Jedi/warrior strength as a mother!

Age of Reason is a UK luxury print label with an emphasis on quality and longevity. Born as a scarf studio in 2011, the brand has evolved to add women’s wear and lifestyle accessories. Age of Reason produces two yearly collections and regular limited edition pieces, which are usually snapped up quickly by avid followers of the studio. Taking inspiration from literature, historical costume, punk culture and her African childhood in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho, Ali, the Founder, applies a quintessentially British style to her contemporary collections. These are beautiful clothes you can really live in.
In April 2014 Ali was inspired by Fashion Revolution Day to spend a year only buying clothes if she could directly meet the person who had made them. A year of interviewing designer-makers and blogging about her “No Meet No Treat” challenge lead to the creation of the Age of Reason clothing range. Ali has also worked with her founding seamstress Nicola Carr to develop “The Pin House”, a socially conscious fashion production studio in Hull, Yorkshire where the majority of her collections are made. The studio, works on high-end sampling, pattern cutting, construction and hemming. It’s part of Ali’s vision to ensure that we always know who made our clothes.
Celebrities fans include Alek Wek, Rita Ora, Daisy Lowe, Laura Mvula, Bip Ling, Jerry Hall, Georgia May Jagger, Joan Collins, Joanna Lumley, Tracey Emin, Anastacia and a growing list of fabulous bloggers and influencers, including Mother Pukka, Dress Like a Mum, Mere Soeur, and Incredibusy, of course!
