Popped in to @farleyshg for an excellent private t

Popped in to @farleyshg for an excellent private tour of Farleys House in East Sussex, the former home of the photographer Lee Miller and the Surrealist artist Roland Penrose, full to the brim with art and oddities - totally worth the £23 and I had a rather super bowl of soup too.

I rather fell in love with Lee Miller’s kitchen - no photography permitted in the house, so here’s one of a book spread* and another taken from their @farleyshg feed, and yes that’s a Picasso tile cemented into the wall above the Aga.

If you don’t know who Lee Miller is now, you soon will as there’s only one week to go until Kate Winslet’s ‘LEE’ hits cinemas 📽️ across the UK and Ireland.

And then guess what, you’ll never believe it, who did I bump into but Chloë?! @sevensistersspices who happens to be based at Farleys too. Kismet. Definitely check Chloë out if you live in East Sussex.

Farleys is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays until 31 October.

Better late than never… who went to @endoftheroad festival this weekend then?

I’m still a bit tired after an overload of culture and fun, and sleeping on the floor… 😂

It was actually incredible, MAGICAL in fact - the best festival - our third time with these wonderful people @katepowertherapeuticcoach @camparikate @richardjpower and all the lovely non instagrammy folk (including Paul whose photo album I’ve just raided for half of these pics).

I keep thinking about all of those delicious salads in the Healing Gardens - food offerings were amazing! Oh and forgot to mention the morning yoga session with @hayley_yoga too x

Well done @simonendoftheroad and all of your brilliant team - it was so good this year thank you! xx

I appreciate that many of us have been moaning about reach/algorithms/changes to this app recently - fair point in many ways, however, without instagram I wouldn’t have met quite so many amazing people…

Charlotte @therapy.kitchen being a case in point, long story, but back in the days when we used hashtags (ok don’t get me started on hashtags) I tapped #WonderBag and met Charlotte.

It’s taken a while but we are finally working on a project together and earlier this week we met up for her “Women’s Time” kitchen session - nourishing spirits, nurturing souls with slow food for thought and play.

It was a day of skill swapping storytelling, reflexology and massage, acupuncture and idea sharing.

Slow cooking the WonderBag way was at the heart of this day, enabling time for treats and treatments to nourish our psyche and take care of ourselves.
