Ali is also a film maker and story teller, for clients such as the National Gallery (as part of their 200 Creators programme), Woolwich Works, Harriet Riddell, Madeline Meckiffe, goJauntly walking app, Blue Earth Summit, and most recently Loop Knitting.
Ali also volunteers creating content for her local National Trust park.

During lockdown, she began repairing her beloved knitwear (and son’s holey socks), experimenting with vintage mending tools discovered in second-hand shops and online marketplaces.
She fell in love with the SpeedWeve: a delightfully clever 1950s darning loom, originally made in Lancashire. As a graphic designer, Ali was captivated by its iconic packaging and heritage design, and began sharing her explorations on social media.

This growing fascination led to the creation of the incredibusy salvaged speed loom, a modern take on the original, handmade in the UK from salvaged materials. Today, Ali brings new life to old garments and teaches others how to do the same.
Her workshops offer not just practical skills, but a chance to slow down, inviting participants into a calm, rhythmic practice that reconnects us with our clothes, our creativity, and our values.
You can find her at incredibusy.com and on social media as @incredibusy.
