TEN Clay Craft Ideas
One of our favourite activities – making things with clay, there are still some rather incredible creations in my own back garden – some ‘busts’ of fellow Art Students from my Art School days (the models would be so proud to find out they are hiding amongst the rose bushes!)
We really like Air Drying Clay – as it’s so simple to use at home or in the classroom – we found a good clay without any plastic fibres too – Gedeo non firing clay, which we highly recommend (you can find similar in the US here) – see our little Cactus Pots here really fun and effective!
We’ve pulled together a list of inspiring crafts using clay – from entry level, so good for small children, through to the more sophisticated (but equally fun for kids to make!)
