Incredible, this poignant documentary “I am Greta”, is compelling and an often moving insight into the life of teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Sharing ‘behind the scenes’ footage, showing both Greta’s drive and frustrations. This responsibility as a thought-leader that she carries stoically on her shoulders, is revealed here as often too much for her to cope with. Yet she continues to inspire those around her to fight for climate justice. A fascinating, unmissable film.

The “I am Greta” movie offers a glimpse behind the scenes of what it has been like for teenage activist Greta Thunberg as she intensified her efforts to bring attention to the looming clilmate crisis.

A moving portrait that reveals the isolation and desperation of a young girl lost in an adult world as she fights for the planet.

We follow Greta, chaperoned by a weary, yet supportive father, to event after event, where crowds are waiting to cheer her on, however there is little evidence of significant Worldwide change.

Political and religious leaders all make efforts to be seen with Greta in public but this does not translate to the action she wants to see.

Juxtaposed with her emotional public appearances are moments of quiet where we can see Greta as an innocent young girl, isolated from what should be a normal teenage life.

Greta is an inspirational figure that with conviction and determination has become an enviromental hero to millions. Watching her despair at the lack of significant action, we gain a sense of the enormous burden that has found its way onto her shoulders. Shame on us.
