Meet the softest sustainably sourced Pyjamas and undies (I think the technical term is ‘intimates’), made from European Beech trees – the material you may know, is called Tencel.
Another tree is planted for every pair of Stripe and Stare pants purchased. And the brand are now bCorp certified too. I have just been invited to become and ambassador for this wonderful UK brand, which really pleases me, and if you fancy a browse of their website, and a discount – click here and use the *code S&STRIBE1TWJ.
Tencel europe is the one of the trade names for Lyocell, the fibres are extracted from trees with a pulp-to-fibre process, and uses 95% less water than regular cotton in its production.
The fibres are completely biodegradable so you can pop your pants in the compost (should you wish to!) and they will fully revert back to nature.
Stripe and Stare Tencel intimates, now bCorp certified – these Stripe and Stare pyjamas are so soft, and wear really well – I’ve had these for 18 months, and still feel and look as if they are brand new.
Thank you Stripe and Stare for asking me to share these photographs as a reminder that these Portugal produced PJs and knickers are made from trees and arrive in pretty packaging that’s compostable too… ♻️
