Marbled eggs – quick fun craft for Easter or as great dinosaur eggs for a dinosaur party
The boys wanted to have a go at Marbled Eggs after school, and these are so easy, I don’t really need to tell you HOW to do it, however, for those of you who have children who like to follow instructions, here’s what you need:
Instructions:
Hard boil some Free Range eggs for 10-12 minutes (depending on your own preference!)
Leave to cool for five minutes.
Prepare your food bags or tin foil wrap with a teaspoon of food colouring.
Lightly crack the eggs to create delicate cracks, use the back of a teaspoon or gently crack on the table.
Pop each egg in the prepared food bags.
Seal the bags and roll the eggs around in the food dye.
After an hour, move the eggs around again.
After another hour, take your eggs from the bags, and gently remove the shells under a slow running tap – and there you are! Job done….
For a better idea, check out the YouTube video here which offers a step by step look at HOW you make these!
ENJOY!
Marbled Eggs, perfect for Easter picnics, or a dinosaur party!
